Dhyāna: Monthly Meditation Series
This event was completely women-powered—from the studio space to the nourishing rose cardamom date balls and ashwagandha tea, everything was created with love and intention to support our healing journey together. I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to empower local women and businesses while creating a space of healing and connection for all.
Moments from February’s Meditation Event
This February marked our second Toronto session, and it was completely women-powered! The event was hosted in the gorgeous Saor Studio, with Rose Cardoom Date Balls by Annie’s Bakery and Lavender Dreams Tea by Lake & Oak Tea Co. I’m so grateful for the opportunity to support local women-owned businesses through these events. This series is all about uplifting and empowering our community, and seeing it unfold is truly heartwarming.
Dhyāna is a grassroots community meditation series I founded to support the well-being of youth and BIPOC women through culturally rooted, holistic practices. Inspired by the ancestral wisdom of yoga and Ayurveda, Dhyāna creates sacred spaces for rest, reflection, and reconnection through guided meditation, breathwork, and sensory wellness rituals, practices designed to engage the senses and help participants fully settle into the present moment.
Since January 2025, we’ve hosted nine gatherings—eight in Toronto and one in Kerala, India. Each session includes grounding offerings such as herbal teas, energy bites, masala chai, and curated wellness products, enhancing the immersive, mindful experience.
Dhyāna is a monthly series open to all who wish to reconnect with the true essence of yoga, explore self-discovery, and find harmony within a supportive, inclusive community.

Moments from March’s Meditation Event
This March session marked our 3rd event in Toronto. This event was completely women-powered, hosted in the beautiful studio space at The Villij, with pistachio date balls by Annie’s Bakery and golden turmeric lattes by Nutbar. Deep gratitude to the community that continues to show up each month and support the Dhyāna Meditation Series.
Moments from April’s Meditation Event in India
Feeling deeply honoured to host the fourth session of the Dhyāna Meditation Series, a project close to my heart. Sharing ancient yogic wisdom in India, the birthplace of yoga, in the surf town of Varkala felt truly special.
This session brought together two things I deeply love, meditation and the ocean. Surfing feels like a moving meditation, teaching presence through the rhythm of the sea and the balance of motion and stillness. The ocean reminds us of both constant change and inner calm.
We sat in sacred stillness, accompanied by the sound of waves, and closed with warm masala chai and a glowing sunset. Grateful to hold this gathering at Soul and Surf India, a place that feels like home, shared with beautiful people and moments.
Moments from June’s Meditation
This June session was our fifth event, made possible by the generosity of Soar Studio, a beautiful, women-led wellness studio in Toronto, and DOSE, who provided nourishing ginger and turmeric juice shots. These roots are celebrated in Ayurveda for their anti-inflammatory and immunity-boosting properties. At Dhyāna, it is not just about movement, it is about community, connection, and empowerment.
Moments from July’s Meditation
This July session was our sixth event, and it wouldn’t have been possible without the generosity of Soar Studio, a beautiful women-led wellness space in Toronto, and Nectr, a Canadian kombucha brand with delicious, refreshing flavors. This session felt truly magical, thank you to everyone who joined me and shared your energy, openness, and light. My favourite part of this series is bringing communities together, and I’m filled with gratitude for everyone who’s been part of this journey.
Moments from August’s Meditation
This August session marked our 7th event, and it wouldn’t have been possible without the generosity of Soar Studio, a beautiful women-led wellness space in Toronto, and Nectr, a Canadian kombucha brand with delicious, refreshing flavors. Deep gratitude to the community that continues to show up each month and support the Dhyana meditation event. This project is close to my heart, and it’s so beautiful to see it unfold.
Moments from September’s Meditation
Our September session marked our 8th event, where we immersed ourselves in nature through walking meditation, forest bathing, and mindfulness practices—exploring both our inner and outer worlds. The experience took place at the beautiful McMichael Canadian Art Collection, surrounded by outdoor sculptures and the natural landscape, creating a deeply grounding and inspiring setting.
Moments from November’s Meditation
Our 9th meditation took place in November at the beautiful McMichael Canadian Art Collection in Kleinburg, surrounded by the Humber River Valley. During our two-hour gathering, we walked mindfully, meditated, practiced forest bathing, and grounded ourselves among the trees. Nature invited us to slow down, reflect, and turn inward as the season shifted toward rest and renewal. I’m deeply grateful for everyone who showed up with presence and openness, making this experience truly meaningful.
